hey :> havent played for quite a long time now , but yesterday i thought i might start playing css again.. and the game worked , but today i tried to start but there was an error telling me : Platform Error: bad module 'friends/friendsUI.dll " not loading... does anybody know what to do here :/? |

friendsUI.dll is in C:\Program Files\Steam\bin and ClientRegistry.blob is in C:\Program Files\Steam.
I know you can delete ClientRegistry.blob without problems, but I don't know about the other file. Maybe instead of deleting it, rename it to friendsUI.dll.old or something, so if it fucks yr steam up even worse, you can just copy it back..
I moved this to a more appropriate forum section as well, so maybe some more people see your thread. |

i havent really fixed it ultra :/ i manged to start it throuh xfire , but now my "friends" button in the main menu is not longer available ( which doesn't really matter)
thanks reg , i think i'll try it
hm hm i think niblas is lost forever as far as css is concerned :/
i'm trying to play regularly from now on, but there are not so many players on ther server than there were when i stopped playing css for while, are there?

Presumably u've not heard about the new steam friends then  - press shift+tab to get it up in-game. |
