zomg? ZOOOOOOMG! My exam weeks are over (well, for a week now, so yeah I have been slacking) and I was 'pointed' at the fact that I've been slacking towards TWG as well. So I'm gonna start it
Please announce in this thread that you still want to play. If you do not post here, I will take you off the list. Additional signups are possible, so if you didn't list up about a month ago, you can here.
Roles will be send out on Saterday, game starts at 19:00 on Sunday!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, since you all have been waiting for so long, some extra TWG goodness (you are not gonna believe the following )
Additional questions about the game mechanics/roles can be done in this thread as well.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Theme:
Star Wars
A ship full of people travelling the Outer Rim makes an emergency landing on an abandoned planet. After researching the ship's engine, it has become clear it's been through sabotage... Stranded on a distant planet from civilization, it's unclear who to trust...
Additional game mechanics:
Duelling:
Any Jedi, Sith and the Echani Battlemaster may challenge another character to a duel. This may happen once per day from Day 2 onward (so not on Day 1), additional challenges by other players on that same day are declared void. At the end of the Day, if the challenger or challenged player has survived (not killed by Bounty Hunter), the duel will be fought. Winner is based on the ranking of both players, which has a somewhat 'rock-paper-scissor' effect. So if for instance player A (Jedi Master) challenges Player B (Sith Marauder) the winner of the duel will be the one that is ranked better. If the players are equally ranked, I'll roll who wins since it has a 50/50 chance.
Rank A beats Rank B, etc.
Players able to duel:
Any Jedi
Any Sith
Echani Battlemaster
Players able to duel may challenge -anyone- and do not have to disclose their role. They must state in bold that they challenge 'player name' to a duel. After they have dueled their role will still be undisclosed, the duel takes place in public though, so people can reason themselves why the challenge took place.
*Do note: If the player that wins the duel happens to be the one to be lynched that day, lynching will still commence.
**In case the defeated player was the lynch for that Day, no one will be lynched.
Converting:
The Sith Lord may try and convert another player once per game to the Dark Side. This happens via PM to the GM, where if the player targeted for converting is not
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Roles:
Jedi (The Good)
Jedi Sentinel. Has the Force Foresight ability. May once per game (excluding Day 1) use his ability to predetermine who is targeted for nightkill. Duel Rank C
Jedi Weapon master. Undefeated champion of the Jedi Order, the Weapon Master is a one man army. Duel Rank A
Jedi Guardian (Guardian Angel). At night may protect any individual from harm from nightkill. if the Sith Assassin tries to use his extra nightkill on the target the Jedi Guardian is protecting, a duel will ensue.
Duel Rank B
----
Sith (The Bad)
Sith Assassin. Think ninja. With a lightsaber. Has the ability to once per game kill an additional target at night. However, on Nights 1 and 2 he can not use this ability, so only from Day 2 onwards. Duel Rank C
Sith Marauder. Sith master of arms. If the Sith need to fight, this one will be standing at the front. Duel Rank A
Sith Lord. Master of deception and lies. May once per game convert a player to the Dark Side, who will be joining the Sith team. This player will keep it's abilities, unless it's the Force Sensitive who's abilities will change.
With his mindtricks he can also once per game change the vote of one of the players during the Day by pm-ing the GM. Using both powers will not expose the Sith Lord, unless he targets Jedi, which will fail his convertion/mindtrick and results into a duel between the Sith Lord and the Jedi targeted. Duel Rank B
---
Rest of the Crew (Good? Bad? Let's just say many shades of gray...)
Bounty Hunter (Vigilante). Similar to the Vigilante from another galaxy far far way, the Bounty Hunter may once per game kill another player. Duel Rank C. However, due to his experience in dirty fighting throughout the Galaxy, when dueling a Rank A opponent he will win.
Echani Battlemaster. Trained for combat his/her entire life, the Echani Battlemaster easily is able to fight on par with even the best Jedis or Sith.
Duel Rank A.
Medic. Has the ability to once per game heal one nightkill and one killed by duel. Healing the one killed by duel will result into exposure of his role.
Duel Rank E
Force Sensitive (Seer). While untrained, this one is strong in the Force. At night he/she trains herself by 'scanning' the emotions of the fellow passengers, so may once per Night try to determine`what role a player has. Trying to see the Jedi Sentinal and Sith Lord will result in failure, due to their strength in the force and another role will be seen instead. When converted to the Dark Side, the darkness will cloud his/her mind, thus rendering the Seer ability useless. Duel Rank D
Jedi War Veteran. Having fought many wars for and against Jedi, he's been trained to resist the use of the Force on him. In short, he is immune for any power, be it mindtricks, convertion, etc. Additionally, the GM will notify the Veteran each time that an attempt has made to use 'the Force' (not specifying by who and what power) on him, which he once per game may investigate. He has a 50% chance of 'finding' the source or failing and when found there is a 50% chance he will find out the identity without being spotted. If he does get spotted however, a duel will take place.
Duel Rank B
The Dark Apprentice. Although seemingly a normal person, deep down his heart is clouded by the Dark Side. If he get's converted to the Dark Side, he may take the place (and role) of any fallen Sith. If he get's converted while no Sith has died, he will remain the same with no additional powers.
Note: this player does not have acces to the 'Sith board'. Duel Rank C.
------------------------
Additional roles will be added and current roles changed depending on signups/feedback. |
