So you want to be a member of our great clan? I can understand that Very Happy

You will need some extra (small) software which is used in our clan for
communication. So what do you exactly need?

• Xfire - Gaming Simplified

Xfire is a free, small program, which allows you to chat when in- and outgame. A few of the options Xfire offers you:

* See when your friends are online, what game they're playing, and what server they're on
* Join in on their games with one click
* See what the friends of your friends are playing
* Once you're ready to join one of your friends in a game, simply select your friend's name and click the Join button. (Say goodbye to cutting & pasting server IP addresses!)
* Unlike other Instant Messaging applications, Xfire allows ingame chatting. This means you will not have to get out of your game (by Alt+Tab for example) to answer incoming messages. A window will be displayed in your game allowing you to answer or start up a chat yourself. The key used for this can be configured.
* You can download the latest mods, patches, and trailers for your favorite games to your desktop over Xfire's flexible and convenient P2P file network. Subscribe to Xfire's download channels and get game patches and files automatically delivered as soon as they're out- no more waiting around to get a patch, just play.
* Xfire shows off your gaming stats, such as the games you play and how many hours you've played them. They're on your profile and Miniprofile, which can be embedded anywhere on the web.
* Xfire supports many popular online PC games, including server and non-server based First Person Shooters, Real Time Strategy, and Role Playing Games. If you play it, Xfire probably has it. And the Xfire team is constantly adding newly suggested games.

Teamspeak RC2 is a free program aswell. It is a quality, scalable application which enables people to speak with one another over the Internet. This is used in our clan for communication and it is certainly needed if your intending to play matches in our clan. In matches we communicate through teamspeak, because this goes a lot faster than over Xfire or CS:S' chat function. We have our own Teamspeak server which you can visit by connecting to our host: livebythegun.com
