We are now negotiating with several other companies to find a suitable new home for our clan. Aspects we are taking into consideration are for instanse the amount of bandwith the hosting companies are prepared to include and what hardware the server will run on. Other factors are the quality of the support they provide and the stability of their network.


The new server has been cancelled starting the 11th of August, so we will make sure we will have a new server by then for sure. We have several good offers and are trying to make a decision on this. Either way, there will be a public |LBTG| CS:S server online at all times.


For you this means you have to enter a new IP address into your Steam favourites if you want to play on the new |LBTG| server. This IP address will be disclosed when the new server is online.
It also means that gameplay will improve for you. Before, the |LBTG| server ran on a P4 2.4 Ghz single core server. This was our 'old' server. In the end this server could sometimes not handle the load it was under when a lot of people were playing on our server. This causes lag and that is obviously not something we want. Now our server runs on a newer P4 3.0 Ghz server, which already plays a lot smoother.
The way it is looking now, the minimum specifications for our new server will include a dual core Xeon 3050 processor, which will mean even better performance and .
