We are pleased to let you know that, as we announced before, |LBTG| has yet another new dedicated server.
Leaseweb
We have decided to try the services of a company called Leaseweb. So far, we are impressed. The delivery of the server was swift and without any problems and the network seems very stable. The server itself, is a Dell PE 0860 with a dual core Xeon 3050 processor and 1 GB Ram. So far the performance of it looks promising.
First Impression
Some of our match team members have had the privilege to play as the first on the server for an ED match and we have heard nothing but good reports from them regarding the playability, ping, etc. They won the match 23-1, which is of course a very good sign. ;-) Congrats guys.. Let's hope it's the first win of many to come on our new home base.
When Can We Play?
As we have a lot of preparations and customisations to do on the server, we are not transferring the public CS:S server to our new dedicated server just yet. We will announce here, in the news section, when we do transfer it and what the new IP will be.
