Ok - themes...what to do....?

Here's my thoughts on a few possibilities:

1 - 1950's style spy theme - the russians have spies in the midst of the western world - can the allies track them down before it's too late? Was it infact the russians that are responsible for the problem, or is there another force playing them off against the west?!

2 - 1920's Cthulhu esque/survival theme - think of it like a game of cleudo - everyone is gathered at a castle/hotel/mansion on an island that is only accesible via a causeway that is emerged in water exceot for a small window of time twice a day - locked away inside our intrepid adventures have a limited time to solve the mystery before it's too late...is it just a person that has plagued this spooky place over the years, or is there a more sinister, devilish reason for the unfortunate happenings?

That's just my 2 suggestions - what I'll do over the next few days is start to figure out what roles there will be for each idea, but if anyone else has a preference then let me know - if all goes well I'll try and start if proper around the end of next weekend (I have some horrible start times at work this week - 3 consecutive days I'm working in Bournemouth, which is a 2 hour drive from me - and on all of them I'm starting work at 6am which means being up and out of my house by 4am at the latest Sad

Well, I have to admit that personally the Wizard of Oz theme would probably take a little work to make it work correctly, and seing as how this is my first time trying this stuff out then either the Spy or Cleudo style themes would work better. I'll keep an eye on this post during the week and see how it goes for people wanting to sign up to it. I have some really nasty and early starts this week so I'm sure I won't have anything set in concrete before then. But I'll keep you all updated.

But so farwe have the following ready for the game (how many do we normally have for a game?):

Regime
Trinity
Ultraviolet
Copernica
Die
Aaron
Cataphract
Wraith

Regime - do I need to have a special access setup for this game area on the forum? I want to make sure that only those players in certain groups see what they should be seing Smile

Hmm...we only have 8 people so far - looking back at Waray's guide it seems we need 10 atleast - I will work on some stuff this week anyway for it, but if we can't get the numbers I'll have to postone it.

Atleast I'll have the necessary info to hand for when we try it again if it doesn't happen this time around Smile
