Once downloaded, go to :/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/common/Left 4 Dead/media (you should rename the original .bak instead of .bik as a backup)
To disable the original music, you need to go :/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/common/Left 4 Dead/sound/UI and change the filename of gamestartup1.mp3

Yes works fine, saves me getting bored when I am sitting in the lobby for ages waiting for people to join
